La Maison Valmont fascinates with beauty and art

This place combines an exclusive ambience with pure luxury: the fashion and lifestyle brand La Maison Valmont has staged its new boutique in Munich as a fascinating mix of a beauty boutique and art gallery. No detail was left to chance:

three floors of a former coach house in the world-famous Maximilianstraße now inspire sophisticated customers with exclusive skin care products, the finest perfumes, special accessories and art.

Exclusive craftsmanship

La Maison Valmont enlisted Hoffmann Ladenbau to realise the luxury shop. The shopfitting experts were responsible, amongst other things, for the conversion of rooms on the top floor and the production, delivery and assembly of furniture on all levels. It was modelled on the concept created by the Hamburg-based firm of architects “Breil+ Creative Partners”.

The result even attracted attention in luxury circles: every shopfitting element impresses with exclusive craftsmanship and perfect finishing in combination with high-quality materials. The entire contract included many eye-catching individual elements, such as a checkout area with a rear cabinet, two product tables as tester bars, eight display cubes with a glass top and also a bench, doors and two brass plates for external advertising. The design is dominated by clear lines, white high-gloss surfaces and lots of polished brass.

A golden cage as an eye-catcher

The so-called golden cage attracts all the attention as an unusual eye-catcher: “The object consists of multiple cubes, one inside the other, produced out of rectangular brass tube and polished to a high gloss by our experts,”explains Stefan Pietz, Project Manager at Hoffmann Interior. The building requirements of the former coach house proved to be a particular challenge: since the entrance was no bigger than that of an average family home, many of the larger elements could only be assembled on site.

Joint projects in Europe

The customer was very satisfied after an implementation period of just twelve weeks. “In recent years, we have carried out comparable projects for La Maison Valmont in Berlin, Lausanne, Paris and Rome”, says Stefan Pietz. The customer therefore knows that they can rely one hundred percent on a high-quality result.”
