Shop-in-shops in Germany and Austria

BONITA offers fashion with a strong emphasis on mix and match styles in a network of stores across Europe. Shop-in-shop areas represent the brand physically and are therefore an important complement to the online trade. The specially developed concept was created by the Cologne-based firm of architects “3F Design Architecture”. Three locations were opened in 2017: two of them in Berlin (Kaufpark Eiche and Das Schloss shopping centres) and in Bludenz in Austria (Zimba-Park shopping centre).

As a reliable partner, Hoffmann Interior took care of the tailor-made implementation for all three projects. Its expertise in general contracting services and many years of experience as shopfitters played a major role in this.

The holistically coordinated design focuses on high-quality materials in a simple style. The design with warm oak is teamed up with a combination of black steel and brushed stainless steel. The understated contrast emphasises the elegance of the brand character and, at the same time, draws everyone's attention to the products on display. It took only six weeks from the first production drawing to the turnkey handover. During this short period of time, the team at Hoffmann Interior clarified all the important details, then commissioned and implemented all the measures. The order-related production started at the same time in ongoing consultation with the centre management and the team of architects.

The wall installation with free-floating clothes rails was created using state-of-the-art production technology and real craftsmanship. This was regarded as a special challenge as project manager Stefan Winking reported: “The strain at the front of the rails from the loaded clothes hangers was huge. By developing a special plug-in installation, which was anchored in at the dry build phase, we were able to achieve a stable base.”
